Joe Stevenson vs. Javier Vasquez at UFC on Versus 4


Following three consecutive losses and a 2-5 mark in his past seven fights, Joe Stevenson (31-13 MMA, 8-7 UFC) is dropping from lightweight to featherweight to meet Javier Vazquez (15-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at UFC on Versus 4.

UFC officials today announced the bout.

Although not officially announced, UFC on Versus 4 takes place June 26, and Pittsburgh's 19,000-seat Consol Energy Center is expected to play host.

It's not clear if Stevenson vs. Velasquez will be part of the night's Versus-televised main card.

What's kind of weird is that one of Joe's only wins in years was Nate Diaz, whom he absolutely dominated.
