Cole Escovedo vs. Renan Barao at UFC 130 on May 28

A bantamweight bout between UFC newcomers Renan Barao and Cole Escovedo has been added to May's UFC 130 event.

A source close to the negotiations today told MMAjunkie.com that verbal agreements are in place for the fight.

UFC 130 takes place May 28 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The night's main card airs on pay-per-view.

Barao vs. Escovedo likely will be part of the preliminary card.

Haha, very cool of you. Respect. Barao is one of the worst opponents anyone could draw. He's probably one of the most under-rated and unknown 135ers in all of MMA, and (once again) taking the fight on short notice makes this an extremely dangerous fight for Cole to take.
