Tarec Saffiedine put on an impressive striking display in winning a one-sided victory over Scott Smith on Saturday night's Strikeforce card, easily winning and handing Smith his third straight loss.

It was a solid performance by Saffiedine, who improves to 11-3 in his MMA career. And it was tough to see Smith, a longtime favorite of MMA fans for his hard-hitting style, fail to land much of anything and get completely outclassed by Saffiedine. Smith, who's 17-9, may be nearing the end of the road.

Smith is just fighting for the money at this point. He obviously doesn't want to do this and he was never *that* great at it, unfortunately.

I dont mean to sound disrespectful to smith. He went through some wars for strikeforce when they were still growing and I hope they take care of him for all the wear and tear they put on him but god damn does Smith need to find better gameplans.
