Update: Brazilian Luis Ramos has been tapped to replace Swick:
The UFC announced last night, via Twitter, that Mike Swick had to withdraw from UFC Rio card due to an injury, but Erick Silva is no longer without an opponent. TATAME learned with sources close to the situation that South-American Shooto champion Luis “Beição” Ramos will replace Swick against Silva.
Shooto welterweight champion, “Beição” is coming from three wins in a row, two of them on the same night at WOCS’s GP. The Nova União protégé won 10 out of his last 12 fights, dropping a polemical decision to UFC veteran Roan Carneiro and a KO loss to Pedro Iriê.
