"I'll fight anyone," MacDonald told the ESPN UFC Podcast. "A lot of people don't want to fight Jon Fitch, but I'll gladly fight him, anybody.

"I'd really like to rematch Carlos Condit though. [I'd take that fight] 100 per cent."

"I feel like I can beat anyone, that's my confidence," MacDonald said. "But I know I'm a young guy, I know I have to stay grounded and improve. There's still so much to learn, I'm still very young, I still have so much time to evolve."

He's pretty fucking cocky & arrogant for not having done much.I can't stand that kid. The last time he faced a top-5 WW he nearly was put in a coma, now he thinks he deserves Jon Fitch?!

Why do people think it's "too soon" for Rory?If anything, now is the time to strike as Fitch is coming off a major shoulder surgery/long layoff. This is Rory's best chance to knock off Fitch off the contender list.

Rory right now needs to stay away from any power punchers until his man strength comes in... because if he gets knocked out cold at this stage of his career it could ruin him. Condit hurt him badly in their fight.Anthony Johnson is not a good fight for him right now. Jon Fitch is a great fight for him right now. He should stay away from anyone who has KO power. Alves, Johnson, elenberger, etc...

Being a Canuck, I can't express in words how badly I'm looking forward to several more years of WW dominance lol I'd hate it if a country with so many fans was stuck without a real hero to enjoy. The career overlap means there'll be a delay, but he's gonna surpass GSP imo. Plus, he's still got the young-GSP riddum style. I love how tactical GSP fights now - excluding the Hardy fight that I felt was an abortion of him trying to showcase his BJJ which is spectacular @ transitioning/controlling for Gnp, but not at all submissions - but I did enjoy watching him KO and wild out on ppl constantly. Rory still has that extra kick to him

Yep I'd say Rumble would be a good matchup. I also like Alves, Kos or Story.The truth is Rory is an incredibly talented entertaining fighter. He has the ability and mindset to hang with anyone at 170
