Todd Duffee calls for an offering of tea and crumpets to the mind
Damnit Joe Rogan!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From: Todd Duffee You've done it again and I must thank you and the UG for that.... I just drank 4 cups of freshly brewed starbucks so bare with me.... I got hooked on Joe Rogan's podcast when Mayhem was a guest on an episode that was posted on here a few months back. I clicked on it because Mayhem has been an inspiration for me from the beginning of my career being from that GA la boxing click while being an interesting ballsy character, so I tend to always try to catch what he has to say. After listening to that episode I've caught every one I could. I haven't been able to check Joe's podcast since the Charlie Murphy episode being trapped in Vegas with out the enter webs until I got back to CO. I just downloaded his most recent podcast and was excited to see it was with Graham Hancock, "The Real indiana Jones", who I have been told to check out numerous times. As I was listening to the podcast I kept being reminded of a thread I've been watching for entertainment purposes on both sides of the argument, also being asked this question in person recently along with "isn't the fighter who most enjoys inflicting pain usually the best?". That thread being "How can a fighter be religious". I would like to offer this podcast to that particular thread and the UG. To that thread I am not saying that while you're listening to open your mind's doors and invite the ideas to sit on your couch and serve it red bull and vodka an let them run amuck. All I am saying is maybe while your listening leave your door cracked open and if the ideas walk in and sit down serve them some tea and crumpets and have a fun relaxed chat. So now that I have wasted my time putting out this silly thread and seemingly swinging off some dude's nuts feeling vulnerable and admitting I listen to podcast because I lack the emotional intelligence to find/keep cool friends while traveling these lands, do me a favor and go check both Rogan's, and Hancock's work. PS For the individuals who are annoyed with ancient history an spiritual jargon go check out podcast 137. It talks about nutrition, training and health. I was told to take notes so I imagine it's at least thought provoking. DISCLAIMER Read entire thread... MMA gear now available at the UG Store
