The New York Badass signed with ONE FC recently and competed on their inaugural show in Singapore. losing a unanimous decision to UFC veteran Yushiyuki Yoshida.
“It was a great experience," related Baroni. "It reminded me of a cross between early UFC’s and Bushido. I think the promotion is really well run and I expect a great future for ONE FC. I have to say the promotion from top to bottom was first class. I don’t mind being the token white boy of ONE FC."
His future includes a fight on February 27 at the Bell Centre in Montreal against Guillaume de Lorenzi, where he is “going to knock the maple syrup out of some French Canadian cat.”
Baroni plans to return to ONE FC sometime after his February bout and win a championship in the promotion.
