Terry Etim's quick to return, faces Barboza at UFC 142

UFC president Dana White revealed this past weekend that Terry Etim (15-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) would make a quick return to the octagon.

Today, UFC executives announced it will be against Edson Barboza (9-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC).

The two lightweight scrappers meet in Brazil at UFC 142, which takes place Jan. 14 at Rio de Janeiro's HSBC Arena.

Who has Etim beat besides Stout? The guy has fought mostly cans, and should've been cut after he went 1-2. If he had fought Lauzon last year he would've got smashed, and I'm not even a fan of Lauzon.

Me and one of my best mates have (long story short) an unconditional support policy for both of these guys, I saw this yesterday and asked what we do, he said we do the Greggy Jackson, neither train corner or cheer for either bloke.. Pearson vs Barboza was a close fight but i gave it to Barboza because of the knockdown and doing more damage overallPearson was cut and had a massive welt on the left side of his face while Barboza did not have a scratch on him

right it was so clear that he won that 2 of 3 judges picked Barboza. Mmajunkie, Sherdog and numerous other sites judged Barboza the winner and pretty much everyone not from the UK thought Barboza won. Btw most Americans aren't blind nuthuggers unlike the Brits or Brazilians. In fact many of us pick our favorite fighters based on how they fight, their warrior spirit and how they conduct themselves rather than based on where they were born. Btw don't get what the Etim girs are about. I actualy like Etim as a fighter. Don't understand what showing him choke out cans means to this argument. It's funny you'd think a Brit would understand what a robbery is. Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holyfield that's a robbery. Hammil vs Bisping now that's a robbery but Pearson losing a in which his opponent dropped him, out damaged him, landed the cleaner shots and struck more accurately than him yet Pearson landed a total of 5 more shots in is silly. It was a close fight plain and simple. What's funny is listening to a UKTT(the group known for it's obsession with young British mens balls and for delusion and bias that even makes Cre blush) would then go on to say that they are looking at this objectively and maybe only slightly biased. Ah yes the group who just a couple days ago stated Che Mills was the next Anderson Silva because he beat the worst fighter in the Ufc. Clearly you guys are nothing if not objective.
