Dave Branch and Lucio Linhares both put up good fights against Palhares an got submitted in the second round. I can see Massenzio maybe winning a round like Branch did, but I think that Rousimar's ground game and explosiveness will allow him to turn the tide of the fight in his favor at any moment in the fight.

I was at that fight, despite it being a split decision, it was pretty one sided(it's been a LONG time, but from what I remember, he took him down at wil and outstuck him, but Miller had a couple of nice submission attempts). Not taking anything away from Miller. He is an excellent fighter and it was very early in his carear. He has grown largely since that fight. I was just pointing out that he was implying that Miller was a much higher class of fighter than someone he lost to. There are fights out of the UFC.

You're thinking he will hold his own by getting finished in the second?

Ya, uhhh.... Miller wasn't dominated by Massenzio by any stretch of the imagination. That being said, even though I think Paul Harris will win, Massenzio will hold his own. I see it going like the jeremy horn-PH fight, with Massenzio holding his own, but Palhares dominating throughout, maybe locking on a sub midway through the second.

You do realize Massenzio won a VERY one-sided decision against Miller before the UFC(I do think Miller has grow since then, but still). Hendo and Marquardt are definitely tougher opponents, but he lost to both. I think Mike will put up a bigger fight than most of you are anticipating and is better than mos t of you give him credit for. Most of his recent losses were in fights he had no business being in(mostly bc of injury and in the oe case late notice against a monster).

Massenzio is a good fighter especially now that he's healthy (i remember him coming in the cage in a CAST against CB).However, PH deserves a bigger NAME after all his wins. The loss to Nate doenst really count
