I amde it out alive. I am on some heavy meds but I already have my Carwin walk out tee on. I am ready! They found a pretty bad herniated disc while performing the surgery and they repaired that too. My doctor was surprised that I could do what I do with my back in such bad shape. He said I am as good as new now. That mountain top does not look so far away. Thanks to you the UG for the support.

An MRI taken last month showed that a disc in his lower back had penetrated into the nerves. His doctor gave him two options; retire and postpone surgery for a few years or undergo the operation to resume his career.

The 36-year-old underwent a “foraminotomy” one year ago to enlarged the passageway where the spinal nerve root exits the spinal canal. Surgeons removed bone and/or tissue that obstructed the passageway and pinched the spinal nerve root, which often caused severe inflammation and pain.
