Todd Duffee is officially listed as the record-holder for the fastest knockout in UFC history at seven seconds, but Denver-based Duane "Bang" Ludwig feels the distinction belongs to him.

Over the Summer the Muay Thai based fighter told MMAjunkie.com Radio that he would be  reaching out to the Nevada State Athletic Commission to see if they'll change the official result of a 2006 bout with Jonathan Goulet at UFC Fight Night 3.

In that fight, Ludwig struck the advancing Goulet almost immediately, leavinghim face-first to the mat. When referee Mario Yamasaki intervened, only four or five seconds had elapsed on the clock. Unfortunately, the official time of the stoppage was listed at 11 seconds, leaving Duffee, not Ludwig, with the official bragging rights.

Now Ludwig has turned to technology and social media to make his case to the sport.
