Machida: I found the path to beat Jones

Lyoto, who showed superiority in the first round of that dispute, said he found the path to beat Jon Jones and he hopes for better luck next time.

“Now it is a challenge to beat Jones and bounce back. We already know the path to get to him and in the next fight the things should happen with more ease,” he explained.

The Brazilian issued a denial to speculation that he would switch weight divisions next year, but he does recognise this is a future possibility in his career. “Now, I don’t want to change - but if I am not the light-heavyweight champion it really could happen”.

its good to be back smiiiiiaaaaaatches......with that said, let me chime in here...machida was winning on purpose not cause it was jon jones's feeling out game plan, machida was just simply able to fight his fight like all his other fights.if you watch closely right before jones takes machida down youll see that jones actually catches machida a little on the chin a little harder than it seems and jones realizes it and starts to do some body hand movement to feel machida out and you can see the difference in machidas step and then he moves in for the takedown and from that point it was all down hill..plain and simple

Machida is closer to getting cut than he is another title shot. 1-3 in your last 4. Worry about getting a win, not reminicing about that one significant punch you landed on Jones.

JBJ also found the path to beat Machida. He picked him up and sat him on his butt like he was a 5 year old kid and cracked him open with the first strike. I was surprised at just how easily JBJ was able to take him down. Rashad and Couture never came close to completing a takedown.
