Urijah Faber cuts his trademark hair in an effort to lift the spirits of his ailing sister, Michaella Tastad, who is sporting a similar hair style as she recovers from a horrific car accident in late November. The two are pictured below together before the accident.

I agree with you 100%. I definitely believe he did this out of the kindness of his heart. He seems like a hell of a guy. I'm a big fan of him. All I said was that he probably used the situation to win more fans. No big deal if he did. I don't know why people are getting mad? I have nothing bad to say about the guy. As for the guy who called me a jackass........howwww rude!

Theres a video of Jon Jones and Urijah Faber dougie-ing together. He's saying that they didn't release it with the intent of any real benefit to themselves(hence his Dancing with the Stars comment), other than just amusing people and making them happy.Understand now?

Lets not pretend like he is a nobody who nobody knwos or cares about.This guy is about the coach the next TUF, fight for the title again, its not like he needs to use his sister for press.He did it to support his sister at the same time he is giving away the hair or selling it for charity he said, doing something good for it.If he gets some attention for doing it so what?He is a famous fighter, so is his hair, I'm sure he was gonna do it and word got out and that mag wanted to do it into a photo shoot.I dont know Faber but to me he seems like a real family guy, I dont think he would pimp out his sisters injury to get some attention and a mag cover, not when eh is about to coach TUF and become an even bigger star in the UFC.
