In a video recently released by the UFC to promote the showdown between Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 on Friday December 30, 2011, Lesnar offered that Overeem in is over his head.

"I don't care how many fights he's had," said Lesnar. "I don't care where his career has been. When that door shuts, and it's time to go, he'll know really quickly that he's got a fight on his hands. In my mind, I think he's in over his head. He doesn't really understand the beast he's about to get in the Octagon with."

Frank Mir, who has intimate experience with what a beast Brock Lesnar can be, agrees that it is going to 'suck' for Alistair Overeem.

In an interview on ESPN1100/98.9 FM in Las Vegas' "The MMA Insiders"Mir said "Brock doesn't shoot that low. He'll put his forehead in your chest, and he's going to run you through. If he's not able to take you down with that initial blast, he's going to run you against the cage. Then he's going to rip your legs out from under you. Now, you should have gotten taken down in the middle of the area, but instead, you've been taken down against the cage. Speaking from experience, that sucks."

"Now, you have a guy who is not a black belt in jiu-jitsu and who is not a wrestling All-American who is going to be able to get back to his feet, so what does he do?"

"Are you going to try to tell me he's going to wrestle with a national champion wrestler for five minutes? His cardio is going to suck. I've seen guys with muscles like that, and that's why he slows down."

In a promo video released today, Overeem is not concerned.

"He's a  very strong guy, strong wrestler," said Overeem. "His weaknesses are my strengths."

"Brock doesn't like to get hit. And that's exactly what I'm gonna do to him. I'm gonna hit him. And I'm gonna hit him as hard as I can. I'm pretty good at it.

"If you guys think Cain Velasquez hits hard, wait until you see what I'm gonna do to him."

"I'm gonna beat Brock up. It's gonna take me no more than two rounds. I am not concenred about his striking at all ... his takedowns, I am not troubled by that at all."
