Rodrigo Minotauro revealed on Saturday in his weekly column in the Rio newspaper Extra, which is close to Antonio Silva hit with the UFC. The premiere was in April at an event to confirm. The opponent would be none other than Cain Velasquez, former heavyweight champion and just lost his belt to Junior Dos Santos in November

Bigfoot has not fought since September, when he was knocked out by Daniel Cormier in the semifinal of the Strikeforce GP. The athlete of Team Nogueira should follow the natural path of some of the Strikeforce heavyweight, since the event purchased by UFC extinguish the category of the heavy end of the GP. Silva has some work to do defensivley. The shots Cormier hit him with he cant afford to take from Cain. BTW the Cormier KO of Silva is absolute destruction.

Feel for Big Foot here - Cain will shread him with a round 1 KO. Woulda thought Mir vs Cain made sense but I think Mir will be set aside for a match with Werdum (if he beats Nelson) - then in case Overeem or JDS takes an injury in the lead up to the title fight, Mir can be inserted to save the PPV.

I'm guessing the UFC wants Cain back in the title picture, so a marquee matchup against Big Foot (one they are assuming Cain wins without too much trouble) make sense.
