I don't think Rashad cares, he left the team, took Vanarsdale with him and created an new team in Florida. Why Jackson would even say this bewilders me. It is a no brainer, It should be Jones and it shouldn;t be an issue. By even bringing this up, what message are you sending to the fighter who is currently training in your GYM? Sorry, but this is a stupid thing to even bring up or even elaborate on.

If Rashad manages to get JBJ down... JBJ could lose.Rashad has good reflexes, if JBJ misses something fancy, Rashad is going to shoot on him.Points decision from there.

He actually said repeatedly that he would not corner either fighter - even after the split. He's also the same guy that made his fighters commit to not fighting each other, which is part of the reason Diego left, when GSP came on. The team was supposedly setup as a family - a brotherhood; hence the reason Jardine and Evans never fought. The dude talks about honor, loyalty, and family all the time, but he's just completely fake. As a fight fan I could really care less, because I get to watch this fight, but Jackson is coming off as a snake. Instead of telling Jones he was going against the system by saying he'd fight Evans, he just changed the system and pretended he had nothing to do with the situation. The guy is about money, pure and simple. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself, except that he plays the goodly Zen master.

This. IF Rashad stayed then he should have stepped aside. He left, so you coach who is on the team instead. As simple as that.

yeah When they were on the same team, and had some form of relationship or a thought of one after he left. That is no longer the case, and has been made clear by Rashad for damn near a year now. He has no reason not to corning Jones now.
