Miller opens as 2-1 favorite over Diaz

His brother, Nick, may be dominating headlines thanks to a positive drug test and looming suspension but Nate Diaz has a big fight coming up against Jim Miller in the main event of UFC on Fox 3 on May 5 in New Jersey.

And he's the underdog.

According to noted oddsmaker Nick Kalikas on his MMAOddsbreaker show, Diaz is the +190 dog to Miller, who opens as the -250 favorite for their lightweight bout that should serve as a number one contender match.

nate diaz doesnt have what it takes to beat top level competition. he, just like his bro, only has a mosquito punchers chance. nate beats poor level competition. he loses to legit people. no way diaz ever beats edgar, B. Henderson, maynard (again), lauzon, olivera etc. everyone praises him in the fight against cerronne, but cerronne fought like crap, and nate still got messed up from leg kicks, and got knocked down with a head kick, while cerronne didnt get hurt at all from the mosquito punches. millers a boss and takes this no problem. standing, or on the ground.

ahhhhhhh my betting site doesnt have the odds up yet. this would be a good bet.bet on miesha at +242 though. thats a weird underdog, going by experience alone.

He also has poor takedown defense and got mauled on the ground by Joe Stevenson in Joe's only win of note in the last few terrible years he had.

Did anyone watch diaz vs. Maynard? Maynard definitely didn't overwhelm him, and imo Diaz deserved the decision.

Everyone goes through problems in their lives. Some are more tragic than others. Doesn't mean one man's particular struggle is invalid. I root for Nate Diaz in this fight and want him to win in a violent and merciless fashion.
