I think Bader will surprise people by trying to be K1 Bader - I think he's going to throw a lot of leg kicks. I don't expect him to try and box too much, instead I think he'll try to kick Rampage's leg.I think after that he'll maybe mix in a punch or takedown, or simply circle around (i.e. use movement Condit style) and kick some more.I believe his strategy will be to try and outpoint Rampage with a lot of leg kicks and some takedowns. Don't expect it to work though - I just see Rampage as being the better fighter still. Plus, with the fight being in Japan you know Rampage is going to be hyped up.Bader's biggest hope is that Rampage overlooks him, and spends his time partying with those Asian girls he loves, and is unprepared for the fight. If Rampage does train properly then this is his fight to lose.

I bet 5 bucks that we're gonna see a lot of jab and low kick combos from Bader, at least in the first round. He will try to take him down later in the fight but the first round will look kinda similar like the diaz/condit fight, with Bader being on the run after each punch or kick. low kicks seem obvious since rampage usually doesn't block them (see jardine and forrest fight)if bader can't take him down than this will go pretty much like the Hamil fight with Rampage grinding out a decision

I'm sorry but I'm not trying to fighter bash or any thing like that this is mma not wrestling just hope he mixes it up a little I love bjj and sambo and alot of the ground game but I hate to watch some of these wrestling guys lay on top and hope to get the win I hope soon we will see bettter rule changes in mma so guys don't just lay and pray

I kind of expected Bader to try to utilize wrestling but now that its coming from the horses mouth, I feel this is going to be a tough match-up for him. Rampage has really good takedown defense. On the feet, they both have pretty good power but technically you'd have to give the edge to Rampage. Bader just has one wildly powerful right that you can see coming from a mile away.
