On Friday night Cage Warriors commenced their 125 ladies tournament with an opening bout between German Shiela Gaff and Chute Boxe product Jennifer Maia at Fight Night 4, in Dubai.
Gaff streamrolled her opponent but much has been made of the start regarding some confusion over a glove touch.
Going entirely by the letter of the law, both fighters are under instruction to protect themselves from the second that the referee signals the start of the bout.
The winner of Aisling Daly vs. Rosi Sexton will need to construct a water tight battle plan to avoid the onslaught of the German tank.

Obviously if you read the rules its easy to say "protect yourself at all times".That was never in question. What was in question is her blatant fake of touching gloves and then going Wanderlei Silva on her.And do deny you faked touching, when the videos and photos clearly show you walking towards your opp with arm out gesturing to touch is bullshit
