Shogun. Rampage. Lyoto. Rashad.

Jon Jones successfully navigated the murderer's row of opposition, adding former training partner and friend Rashad Evans to his resume with a unanimous decision win in the UFC 145 main event at Philips Arena. The champ won by scores of 50-45, 49-46, 49-46.

"It's definitely my most satisfying victory," Jones said afterward. "I did a lot of things I didn't plan. I didn't want to make any mistakes. I didn't feel the cleanest, but who I beat, it was very important to me."

First fight I had bought in over two years... and that was the main event.  Good thing the other fights were good.  The Schaub knockout was hilarious and between that and the Torres knockout, it make it worth the 50 bucks.

he staggered rash head one time. relax. and how do you think he landed that many elbows? cut his arms down to the avereage of a LHW and see how many of those elbows he lands. rash head was staying in his range for the majority of the fight, and over the course of 5 rounds he staggered rash head one time. only came close to knocking him down one time. i expected more. from both fighters.

I think someone else kinda said this. It's no fun watching JJ use his long arms keep people hopelessly out of range. No doubt he is good, and his reach is fair according to the rules, and he has to have the skill to effectively use his reach......but it's still lame to watch.

I agree, but I'm just sort of hoping Hendo will not worry about eating shots to get in. Everyone stands on the outside kickboxing with JJ. That ain't Hendo style. I wouldn't bet though.

Jones eventually WILL move to Heavyweight. That's not gonna happen right now though, for a few reasons.1. A length advantage isn't enough. Nobody complains when someone has a significant strength or speed advantage over everyone, but length is somehow an unfair advantage to most people. They're not gonna move him up because he has reach alone.2. He hasn't cleaned out the division yet. If and only IF he beats Henderson, then he will probably move up. Moving up before he beats Hendo will still leave questions. Move's not happening yet.3. Jones is still not really heavyweight sized. He's only 24, and will grow MORE in the next few years. He walks around at 230, which is Fedor/Velasquez levels, but he's a LOT skinnier and weaker overall than those guys are right now. 205 is a better fit for now. That is all.

Point fighting? Not sure what fight you were watching. I saw another elite fighter get practically dominated. Except he was the only one of the former champions that he couldn't finish.

Are you kidding or trolling? Of course he was tryng to finish Evans, but Evans is an elite fighter. He was only KO'd by Machida because he was mocking his punches, until a clean shot got through.IF you want to be pissed at someone, then choose GSP. When was the last time he ever finished a fight?
