Vitor Belfort has pin removed from hand in Brazil
Last month UFC President Dana White woke up to hear that the planned UFC 147 headliner between Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva off. The fight was to have been the conclusion to the debut of TUF Brazil, where the two were opposing coaches. "I wake up this morning, and Vitor Belfort breaks his hand, and he's in f----- surgery," White said. "It never ends for me. Every day we get up, and bad s--- happens. And guess what? I can guarantee you that when I wake up tomorrow, something else is going to happen." It did not sound like a very good day for Belfort, either. Pins were inserted into Belfort's hand to stabilize the recovery, and today the pins came out. With pliers. MMA gear now available at the UG Store
