Teixeira opens as almost 2-1 favorite over Rampage Jackson

Today oddsmakers opened the books for UFC 153, and despite being a former lightheavyweight champion fighting a fighter in his second UFC bout, Quinton Rampage Jackson is the underdog to Glover Teixeira.

Rampage Jackson +155

Glover Teixeira -185.

For those unfamiliar with gambling in mixed martial arts, a positve number represents the underdog and a negative number the favorite. A $100.00 bet placed on Jackson would net the betttor $155.00, whereas a $185.00 bet on Teixeira would only net the bettor $100.00

can't believe someone would bet on mir when he's facing someone i doubt he could beat even if he was mentally tough, which he's clearly not.
