Cerrone earns extra $120,000 with double 'of the night' bonuses

Cerrone earned the $60,000 Knockout of the Night award for his first-round finish of Melvin Guillard, and he also collected the same amount for his half of the wild 76-second bout, which earned the duo the Fight of the Night.

The Submission of the Night was earned by Dennis Bermudez, who also overcame a rocky start to finish Tommy Hayden with a first-round guillotine. That was an easy decision for UFC brass, since it was the only tapout finish of the night.

Meanwhile, six of the 10 fights were finished by knockout or TKO.

Sounds like a great fight. I don't think Pettis has much of a chance at the belt though. Benson has improved a ton since they fought the last WEC bout. I think Pettis vs Nate would be epic too.The UFC really needs to get Alvarez and Chandler in the mix. Gilbert too. It's by far the most talent stacked division in the sport.

Cerrone was cash broke, not broke. I have a relative that makes about ~2 million a year and can be cash broke for weeks throughout the year, yet is still pretty rich with assets.

Nate won't win the rematch with Donald. And Nate won't beat Benson. The only reason he beat Cerrone was because he used his street-goon mental games to pull Cerrone in to fighting his fight. Which was smart, I'm not saying it wasn't. I don't think it happens next time though.

For sure. I love Creepy Joe, but I don't think he matches up very well with Cowboy.
