Cesar Gracie goads Jackson's MMA after Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman

source: twitter.com

The Albuquerque, MA based Jackson's MMA went into Saturday night's Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman with four fighters and high hopes:
Sarah Kaufman vs. Ronda Rousey
Derek Brunson vs. Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza
Julie Kedzie vs. Miesha Tate
Adlan Amagov vs. Keith Berry

It is the hard math of MMA that half the people lose every fight, and the evening was a tough one for the Jackson's fighters. Cesar Gracie took note on Twitter.

Pretty lame to take one bad night for Jackson's and kick them while they're down. But it's the kind of guy Cesar is, and the kind of camp he runs.

SoupCan if you dont class guys that fight for the title in the UFC as elite, guys like Faber, Sonnen and Nate Diaz then you truly have no clue about this sport. To fight for the title in the UFC these days you have to at least be on of the top 5 fighters in your weight class in the entire sport, if that isn't elite then what is?

Good posts by both you and no filter. Diaz fans and Jackson haters are funny.  They will bag on Jackson by saying he makes fighters boring, despite the fact that he has some of the most exciting fighters.  He has a couple that can be boring and they focus on those fighters, blame it on Jackson, but of course refuse to give him credit for the exciting fights/fighters.  They will then talk about how exciting Cesar's camp is when in reality, Nick and Nate are pretty much the only 2 exciting ones.  Melendez is very good and not boring by any means but I wouldn't say he's anymore exciting than Lauzon, Pettis, Bendo, Cowboy, Frankie, Gray, or many others.   Shields is obviously the most boring out of anyone from either camp. And regarding "homegrown' fighters, who does Cesar have coming up?  Yes he has 4 great fighters but they've all been around for what, 8+ years?  If he's this stellar coach that is out scouting lower level fighters and turning them into contenders/champs, who's the new crop (or anyone in the past 8 years)?  Seems to me he found 4 great fighters and focuses only on them.
