Nate Diaz: Maybe it's my turn

"Well yeah, it's a big fight," Diaz said earlier this week on a media conference call for the fight. "It's important and there's a belt. So It's pretty much the biggest thing going on right now."

A fairly typical Diaz answer, to be certain. Short, sweet and to the point.

But when pressed, maybe, just maybe, as much as his reputation is that of a street-tough brawler who's just as likely to throw up a middle finger at you as he is smack you around for three rounds – maybe Diaz is cool, after all, with being a champ and being in the limelight.

"I think it would be good because my teammates have all been champions," he said. "And I don't know ... maybe it's my turn with something like that."

well Nick did pave the way for Nate. In the Condit-Diaz primetime Nick talks about how before Nate had a chance to get into the street fights that Nick got into, Nick would Drag Nate along with him during his training.

Is it just me or do Nate and Nick have completely opposite demeanors and attitudes. Nate seems like a good kid who is grateful for the opportunities he has had and Nick acts like he is hard done by and under appreciated. Going to be a great fight on Saturday.

difference between you and him is that he has a chance on a scheduled date (Saturday, December 08) with a probability to win and you have no chance

Nate is already the most successful member of that team. If he were in SF, he would have had that belt a long time ago. No way does Gil do to Cerrone what Nate did to Cerrone. Not even close.
