Rory MacDonald on Wednesday told Radio he's been granted the rematch with Condit , and UFC President Dana White confirmed the booking to

The fight is targeted for March 16 at Bell Centre in Montreal. Though the UFC has not officially announced that show, sources close to the event said it will be UFC 158, a pay-per-view. The placement of the MacDonald-Condit fight was not revealed, though it will be positioned on the main card.

MacDonald's loss to Condit is the lone setback of his career. It came at UFC 115 in June 2010, and it came after MacDonald had won the first two rounds on a pair of scorecards. He took Condit down several times in the first two frames before Condit rallied in the third and was able to get a TKO stoppage with just seven seconds left in the fight.

"In Montreal – I got exactly what I wanted," said MacDonald said. "You can't get what you don't ask for. I'm very, very happy... I've been waiting for this day for two and a half years."

I can't be the only person who found this gif hilarious. The shuffling is so awkward.

I never was a Condit fan when he was in the WEC, but when you have him beat Diaz and then give him MacDonald, I can't help but to cheer for him !

people say Rory's stand up has improved so much..... based on beating up a chubby 155er who was put into semi-retirement by Nick Diaz.Rory's only shot is to lay on Condit like he did in the 1st Round of their 1st fight.

Really lookin forward to this one. Rory should take it this time..........gonna be "Motivated Rory"........ That spells trouble for Condit.

Split decision? So you see 1 judge scoring it for Condit and 2 scoring it for Rory?

Great matchup!!I get excited every time one of these dudes fight, but I'm gonna have to take Condit in this one, but not by much. It really could go either way, but I think Condit is more unpredictable than Rory, but Rory is obviously stronger and the more polished striker. This rematch will hopefully be just as entertaining as the first time they met...

I've been a Rory fan his whole career (I live less than 2 hours from Kelowna). It's not often that I actually underestimate fighters that I cheer for, but against BJ Rory showed that he was a lot better than I thought he was. I'm a huge Condit fan as well, but I can't shake the feeling that Rory is gonna have his revenge.
