Constantinos Philippou seized upon the wounded Tim Boetsch to secure his fifth consecutive win in the UFC.

After a strong first round, Boetsch quickly expired with a cut and an accidental eyepoke.

The middleweight bout was part of the main card of Saturday's UFC 155 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook.

Really? Everyone is discrediting Costa by giving any reason or excuse as to why Boetsch lost? There was a headbutt, and eye poke (accidental), but Costa was picking Tim apart anyway, he seriously impressed me tonight.

Too much crying on this thread. Neither the eye poke or the head poke was intentional. Fighting is dangerous and Shit happens!

Agreed, was pulling for Costa. Just some bad luck for tim and it was def a turning point when he busted his hand. Id like to see a rematch, but dont wanna see Costa sit around till Tim is healed up. Who you guys think is next for Costa? Okami?
