AKA highest win percentage in UFC, Jacksons highest decision rate

StudioMMA.com and MMAnytt.se collaborated on an interesting graphical display of the UFC in 2012.

There were 31 UFC events in 2012, with 341 fights. A member of Blackzilians, Team Quest, Xtreme Couture, Alliance, ATT, Tristar, Team Alpha Male, AKA, or Jacksons MMA compete in over half of all UFC fights.

At 30% and 35% respectively, Jacksons MMA and Tristar had the lowest finish rates of any major camp in the UFC. The others were  all had around 50% or higher.

More than half of all UFC fights end in KO, TKO, or submission.

What event was that? Diego fought once and lost last year. Swanson fought three times last year and had three finishes.   At UFC 152, Jackson fighters, Jones, Noke and Swanson, all finished their opponents. (Brian Stann was on the card and lost to Bisping, but he didn't train at Jackson's for the fight.) At UFC on FX: Maynard vs. Guida, Swanson and Guida were the only Jackson fighters on the card. Guida did stink the place out, and his performance is considered to be the latest example of how Jackson is "ruining the sport." However, if you actually listen to Jackson during the fight, you can hear him telling Guida to engage Maynard the entire time. Funny that when guys supposedly don't follow Jackson's game plan and finish, that Jackson gets no credit, but when a guy doesn't listen to corner advice and puts on a horrible fight, Jackson is the only one to blame. At UFC on Fox 2, Swanson was the only Jackson fighter on the card. So I ask again, what card are you talking about? It's amusing how people are blantantly ignoring the factual errors that have been pointed out in this "statistical breakdown" and are still using it to affirm their hatred of everything related to Jackson.

You would also notice that the style of graphs used are incorrect as we are not trying to extrapolate data from between the points. The data is also less useful without knowing how many fights the teams had in total. As a maths teacher I would imagine you would know this.

truth be told, half of my favorite fighters happen to be at Jackson's :) Do you mean to tell me that Cub Swanson or Diego Brandao would NOT be KOing people if they were NOT at Jacksons?

Maybe it's because his opponents make the fight exciting? Do you need a map?

This. Haters are just more vocal than supporters are for the most part. For every dummy there are fifty other posters who appreciate the quality content you bring. If you left again I would be trying to find the perfect picture or gif for every thread and that would just be embarassing.

$$ talks, and winning = $$. Go for what wins must be there mentality.

So basically you're saying when a Jackson fighter has a boring fight, it's Jackson's fault but when they are exciting or finish, Jackson shouldn't get the credit because it was the individual fighter? How about Clay Guida? When he has boring fights, do you blame it on Jackson? If so, when Clay has FOTN performances (Diego/Clay fight) or SOTN performances (Gomi), do you give the credit to Jackson?
