Yesterday, MMAInterviews.TV reported that they had learned that Ronda Rousey would make $75,000 to show, $75,000 to win, and a percentage of the PPV buys in her first UFC fight, a title defense against Liz Carmouche in February. They also reported that Carmouche was only to be paid $12,000 to show and $12,000 to win versus Rousey. The news created a frenzy on the Underground, with members arguing the business behind paying Rousey, a UFC first-time so much money and a cut of the profit. MMAInterviews.TV later updated their article to include a note that Rousey's longtime manager Darin Harvey refuted those numbers. Today, UFC President Dana White came on the Underground to also refute the initial report:
