Former UFC fighter Silva shot by training partner, in serious condition


Former UFC fighter Assuerio Silva is in serious condition after being shot five times yesterday, January 29, reports Parana Online. The shooting took place as Silva was leaving his gym in Curitiba, Paraná.

The gunman was revealed as Robson Freitas, who was a longtime training partner of Silva. Freitas had threated the life of Silva for some time the report said. Freitas has not been arrested as of this time.

I wanted to post that in the very first post but was afraid of derailing my own thread from the get go.My guess its to get more click throughs because I got the link from google news where it said something to the effect of "UFC fighter shot multiple times!" and then I hover over the link and notice it says carlos condit and almost shit myself.
