Miesha: I was ahead, Winslow 'freaked' because of blood

Miesha "Cupcake" Tate posted on her fan Facebook page about the ref stoppage at the TUF 17 Finale Saturday night.

"Post fight pic taken Monday. (IF) you all are wondering about my nose, it's fine, still a little swollen but I'm going to get the suspension lifted ASAP, and I will be back!

"Can't help my nose bleeds a lot still frustrated at the stoppage, think the ref freaked because of blood when she should have been focusing on the fact that I was still perfectly coherent and shooting for a takedown after two solid knees landed. I was still in the fight and up on the score cards.

"Can't pay enough respect to Cat she's a warrior & I'd love the honor of fighting her in the future again but NOT with Kim Winslow as the ref."

Rosenthal never freaked out over any blood.  Maybe he reflected on the fractal arrangements of a few flock of tumbling platelets and ended a fight or two late while reveling in the intricate glory of man's life force in physical form, but he certainly never "freaked."

Well, a couple notes.1. she's pretty impressed with her looks2. she's delusional about her leading the way in WMMA, she's been leading the way in high profile losses though, so maybe she's right3. she was looking past Cat VERY badlyMan, this chick is fucked in the head. She had such a great shot at being a star, and fucked it up every way possible. From her conceit, jealousy, bitterness etc. She's the poster child for how NOT to approach this.

Damn, all she talks about is Rhonda. Seems to me like she was looking past Cat.

She would be more popular if she gave the winner props, imo....She is still in a place to get the winner from the show finale.  She needs to stop worrying about it all and take her next opponent very seriously, win, and get another shot at it.

I HAD a lot of respect to Miesha Tate prior to this fight. I've met her several times backstage at StrikeForce when Rhonda ripped her arm off (impressed with how clam and tough she was) and at Invicta after party for drinks. But from the start Miesha and her camp was bush league. 1st her boyfriend elbows Cat Zingano in the back of the head backstage at weigh-ins. Then Miesha post off Cat's head/face at the end of the 1st round (which on a private DM on tweeter she's apologized for) WHY NOT PUBLIC? It was a public act? THEN she goes to the press conference cussing up a storm, making up all sorts of excuses hoping that one of them sticks all the while icing her broken nose and damaged face! Then she posts a picture of her face/nose from an above angle with a bunch of make-up on (lets do a couple profile pics no make up). I saw Miesha all week and at one point I was 5 feet away from her for 10 minutes as her & Cat did a stare down photo shoot; she was all bronzed up...Monday she looses her tan and has make-up and concealer on like Tammy Faye Baker. Now I'm not a great wrestler but even I know dropping to all 4's face hitting the mat is a poor takedown technique.Come on folks lets get real...look at the stats in the 3rd round; the numbers don't lie.Cat Zingano- 60 landed strikesMiesha Tate- 2 landed strikesRicky Vasquez

You are correct. an 34 for of those blows(elbows, punches, knees, shoulder strikes) were unanswered prior to the stoppage. That isn't coming back, that's getting destroyed. Not a hater, that's just the facts. good stoppage, imo and hope she comes back soon.
