Super surprised to see the ages of some of these guys. Had no idea Riggs and Christiano Souza were only 30 and that Marcus Aurelio was only 26. Thought all of them were older.

He's right. The circumstances of competing on a reality show are very unlike those one might expect to encounter in a typical training camp (months to prepare for a single guy, time off between matches, ample time to heal from injuries, dedicated one-on-one time w/trainers, consistent coach from beginning to end, controlled living environment, countless stressors)  therefore its silly for the results to impact their permanent professional record, IMO. The NSAC approved TUF 2 fights could count on the fighters pro records under the new 3 round format (2 rds are exhibition matches) w/o the results having to be disclosed until each epiosode aired and folks thought it was a great thing for a while, til they realized how llllong a 15 min fight w/rest periods and commercials was. Seven TUF 2 fights went to the judges but 6 were unanimous so the extra round in those fights was pointless (only a finish could have changed the outcome). Now they only use the 3rd round if it is needed to determine a victory. TUF 2 was the only season with this format, thank goodness. Zuffa stopped counting the wins and losses from season 2 fighters records (on their site and in the stats they give on-air during events) but some recordkeepers (like FCF) count the results professionally since the NSAC officially recognizes them. The other side of the coin is that including his finale victory, Rashad added 4 wins to his pro record as a result of his stint on TUF=)   Cindy
