Mumbai, India, May 9, 2013: Super Fight League is back in action on Friday May 10th, 2013 for another action packed Friday Fight Nights event. Anup Kumar vs. Tom McKenna for the SFL Bantamweight Championship will headline SFL 17. Kumar holds a 4-1 professional MMA record and since coming over to SFL has gone on a four-fight winning streak. McKenna will look to get his second win inside SFL’s O’Zone and earn himself the bantamweight title. The Kentucky native is 6-3 with five of his six wins coming by way of submission.

The Co-Main Event of SFL 17 will feature the heavyweights, as Daniel Amar Singh takes on Mohamed Abdel Karim. Singh is very young in his MMA career with only one fight, but that lone victory was an impressive 27-second submission victory at SFL 7. While Singh is looking to continue his winning ways, Karim is looking to get his first win under the SFL banner. In his first showing inside the O’Zone, Karim lost to Jimmy Ambriz by submission.

Dan Isaac COO and Matchmaker said, “I am looking forward to our Title Defense.  Both guys are hungry but only one will go home with the belt.”

They are not looking for threats against the Indian fighters. They are hoping to bring over US Ham-N-Egger types to try & build their fighters up slowly & appease the fans along the way.

I got some feedback. Put me in with either of the bantamweights that fought for the belt, I'd wreck them.

Lol come on now though. This guy isn't a household name that would bring millions of $ to the promotion. Brock was a special exception cuz in the end it's all about the scrilla

Instant karma for holding the cage = RNC
