FYI the UFC gave Cain a new deal even when he still had fights left on his old deal. That was an important detail.

Mediocre win? He mauled a monster of a man in bloody, gruesome fashion.

I'm a huge fan of JDS and rooted for him but a meniscus injury isn't even close to as bad as an acl injury. NBA players have had surgery on their meniscus and been back on the court in 2 weeks

Glad to see Hunt is getting a good pay day regardless of the outcome.

Forget the injury, both Cain and JDS were in bad shape going into the fight. Cain got caught early and was taken out. No shame in it, but it is not as though it was just him hurt. JDS suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee week and a half before the fight. His training was done in a pool so as not to make it worse. Both guys were hurt, it annoys me that AKA opted to make a bigger deal about it going into the 2nd fight and try to rewrite history.Cain has been clipped in the past (See the Kongo fight) and JDS landed a good shot that hurt him badly.
