'Rampage' considering move to heavyweight

Quinton Jackson has fought his entire career at lightheavyweight, but recently it was announced that he had signed to fight for Bellator Fighting Championships. However, that may not be his only move, as he is also considering a move in weight classes:

He unveiled the plan today during a press conference in Los Angeles.

"I'm thinking of heavyweight because I'm getting older now," said Jackson, who also mentioned a lack of competition at 205 pounds. "I want to start smashing some big guys."

Bellator's heavyweight division is currently ruled by champion Alexander Volkov. Attila Vegh holds the light-heavyweight title.

Makes sense.  He is finding it harder to make weight now.  Good luck.

So he doesn't like fighting top guys or getting in shape anymore.. That's what I'm taking away from the move to bellator.

That seems like a strong description. Maldonado got "absolutely dominated" by Glover. I wouldn't call it close, but Page put up a fight.

I would also think the weight thing might be for "rasslin" on TNA to look big but I would think doing pro wrestling and mma can't be easy there must be a high risk of injury taking bumps.
