Neves improves to 26-0 with amazing capoeira kick knockout

Brazil’s Julio Cesar "Morceguinho" Neves, a top prospect in the 145-pound division, added another win to his impressive record on Saturday at WOCS, and he did it in outstanding fashion.

Fighting out of Santa Catarina, Brazil, "Morceguinho" scored his 13th win in 2013 with a first-round knockout at WOCS 28, dropping Dener Chuleta with a capoeira kick in less than three minutes. It was his 17th KO or TKO victory in MMA, 12 of them in the first round.

thats like saying no foul if someone tries to check an inside leg kick then gets hit in the nuts no ref would let a guy get his nuts cracked and not jump in

Caposa said it best in another thread. This kid is 19, just count those fights as amateur fights

Yikes. It does had a bad vibe to this. Not on the same level as what follows, but I still remember all the guys drooling over Kimbo as he was fighting real bums. Imagine the carnage if any pro fighter with any kind of power were fighting random guys in the street! Is his 26-0 legit or just teabagging? Impressive kick nonetheless.

Very nice kick but his opponent is now 0-2, not exactly a match up that you'd expect for a guy who is now 26-0. Maybe he should try to fight an actual featherweight pro MMA fighter next time.
