Heavyweight Champ likely out a full year

Cain Velasquez defended his UFC heavyweight title at UFC 166 in October and today revealed he will likely be out till later 2014, which may mean a full year from his last bout.

UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez (13-1) will be sidelined likely until late 2014 after he underwent surgery on his left shoulder Tuesday.

Velasquez suffered a torn labrum in his Sept. 19 title defense over Junior Dos Santos in Houston.

At first, the belief was Velasquez would not need surgery, which is why the operation took place nearly three months after the injury.

Damn that stinks.  That takes care of Cain, Pettis and possibly GSP.  That leaves only Honda, Jones and possibly Silva as big draw champs still active.

How do you figure that? Maybe my figures are incorrect...2012 - 13 events 5875K buys2013 - 11 events 4370K buysIf GSP did less than 700K (your numbers) than the Silva card will need to do at least 900K (maybe more) to equal last year.
