Despite lossing his last two bouts, Siyar Bahadurzada has signed a new four fight deal with the UFC:
It seems today's UFC talent needs to drop 3 or 4 straight fights before they come up for consideration as a fighter to cut. Is it the desire to keep more international fighters on the roster as the UFC explores new markets? Or, merely the result of an expanded schedule that sees more events per year than ever before? Likely, it's both. Whatever the cause, the UFC has been giving athletes a lot more leeway than it used to. Case and point, Siyar Bahadurzada.

Bahadurzada most recently lost his second bout in a row, a decision loss to John Howard at UFC 168.
