White on Ronda Rousey, Richard Sherman, and ungracious victory

Many fans found fault with Richard Sherman and Ronda Rousey for their post win reactions after the Seahawks beat the 49ers, and Rousey beat Tate, respectively.

UFC president Dana White was on 790 "The Ticket" sports talk radio show recently, and, in light of Sherman's outburst, host Dan LeBatard asked White if he had spoken to Rousey about refusing to shake Tate's hand.

"Nope," replied White as transcribed by MMAMania. "That was her own decision. It's not about being an ungracious winner … Ronda said it best. She said, 'I didn't like her before the fight, I definitely don't like her after the fight, and nobody is going to boo me into shaking her hand.' Period. End of story.

"And as far as the Richard Sherman thing goes, that was awesome! The guy has probably been playing football since he was eight years old, dreamed about going to the Super Bowl and goes head-to-head against the guy who was trash talking him. And he pulls off, in my opinion, the best play of the game to send his team to the Super Bowl -- that was a touchdown pass. He was fired up, got on TV and let everyone know about it. I wish the Patriots were that fired up that day."

"Ronda is mean and nasty, that's who she is. And she couldn't care less what anyone thinks."

Yup everbody that doesn't agree with something is just a hater. Never mind that since I posted this Sherman has come out and said he regrets saying what he said because it took away from his teamates and their accomplishments. I give him props for stepping up and saying that.

I'm so sick of shit like this. His name is his brand, Sherman is making a name for himself! When Sherman leaves the game and gets to be a commentator and stays in the limelight like Sanders you'll realize why he's doing it. He went to Stanford he's not a dumb ass. 50% of NFL players go bankrupt, 50 fucking percent, ensuring you can have a prosperous future should be on every players mind.
