Report: Henderson vs. Cormier targeted for UFC 175

Daniel Cormier is only one fight into his career at light heavyweight UFC, but if reports are true, his next bout could be the stiffest of his career:

Daniel Cormier will not be fighting Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante next after all.

Instead, Cormier (14-0) will face Dan Henderson (30-11) on July 5 at UFC 175, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. The promotion is expected to announce the news in the coming days.

I want Dan to win. I don't believe he can. I hope he proves me wrong because I'll be on my feet cheering such a victory. Cormier is just great enough to neutralize top guys and he is so effective with what he does well.

Dan is a steroid user, testostrone is a steroid. trt was legalised steroid use. I havent got a problem with it personally, but still he is by definition a steroid user.

Yes but a complete domination and/or KO fo Hendo, it would be hard to argue against giving him a title fight.

Good fight. Makes sense if Hendo wants a title shot. Don't think he'll beat DC but this is much more intriguing matchup than the JZ fight.

Cormier is going to crush Hendo...after watching Hendo the other night, what makes you guys think, barring him landing a lucky right, that Hendo stands a chance in this fight? Cormier will win standing and on the ground...

VTFU Ironhouse   Edit: He fought the HW's in his 3rd tourney after winning two other tourneys. He was in the 190's (IBS) for all those fights. Just to be perfect

Hendo started his carer as a 185lb wrestler fighting heavyweights in 2 fight a night tournaments while I assume most of the people showing disrespect were trying to master wiping their own ass. He is the last fighter from that era that is still top ranked and when he used TRT it was 100% legal. If you were a pro fighter and someone said "hey, if you use this completely legal thing it will make you healthier" 99% of you would use it too. What people keep forgetting is PRIDE, not the fact than Hendo is the only Pride 2 division champ, but the fact that tons of those guys juiced and they got owned by guys that didn't because all the sauce in the world can't make shit taste good. Juice helps but it doesn't gift you skills. Thats like thinking buying a degree makes you smart, silly peoples. ;)HESPECT HENDO!
