Zingano set to return after year and half layoff

Before being injured in training, Cat Zingano was the number one contender and set to coach opposite Ronda Rousey on the Ultimate Fighter. Unfortunately the injury did happen and Zingano sat on the shelf. Now a year and half later, Zingano is set to take a fight before being considered for a title fight:

Cat Zingano, who lost a UFC title shot and an opportunity to coach against women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey when she suffered a knee injury during training, willl return to competition on Sept. 27 in Las Vegas when she meets Amanda Nunes at UFC 178 at the MGM Grand Garden.

She certainly resembled a fish out of water when she flopping around on the mat under D'Alelio and Davis. She's got a nasty ground game when she's on top, but has shown nothing off her back in MMA.
