Parke: I'd love to fight Cerrone next

"I'd love to fight Donald Cerrone, or the Russian lad who wears the wig that nobody wants to fight. I'd love to fight Nate Diaz in Sacramento, bring him back out of retirement and stop all that bitching and crying he's doing."

"Stormin" Norman Parke talks to the UG's Jonathan Shrager regarding a plethora of topics, including;

-The backstory between himself and fellow Irishman Conor McGregor.

-His opinions on Conor inside and outside the cage.

-The prospect of a future all-Ireland matchup between the two.

-How he isn't inherently a "smack-talker."

-The current misconception of Norman as a cautious fighter.

-He enumerates the fellow Lightweights who really appeal to him.

-The time spent training at Alliance MMA in San Diego.

-His training partner Alex Gustafsson and his thoughts on the Jonny "Bones" rematch.

Standup29 has arm barred the correct! if we all had the attitude he cant win he has fought no one so forget it, then how in the hell would we get huge upsets like GSP vs Serra...Weidman vs A. Silva...ect...what a weird way of thinking, I am glad people like this are not match makers....

^would he though? Destroyed more than Miller vs Cerrone? Destroyed more than any of Cerrone's last few opponents? Guys get beat. Some get finished. Parke has only lost 1 fight. He hasn't fought anyone ranked in the top 10 but he isn't a can. Guy is legit and if all the top 10 are injured or lined up for a fight, let's see what he can do against Cerrone. I think Cerrone beats him but would be fun and a good experience for Parke. Maybe he has a good showing and opens some eyes. Won't know unless they fight!

He would get destroyed by any one of those 3 fighters. Brownmania running rife this week.

Is this a serious question? Because there is a long shot in someone winning they shouldn't fight?As for what he has done, it is his tool set that makes him a tough fight for pretty much anyone. He has a good chin, good judo and isn't afraid to mix it up. What so far in his career makes you think he has no chance against anyone you mentioned? They needed fights, why not give it to him when others back away? With Khabib hurt, I say give Parke Cerrone. Regardless of what you think his chances are, would be a fun fight.

oh, okay.i don't care if you think i'm a casual fan or not... i never heard of him prior to this, and i don't follow TUF anymore (i think the last series i watched was when it was the US vs UK).if the UFC thinks these fights will sell, then we'll see the matchup.

what, based off his career thus far, makes you think he can beat Cerrone, Diaz or Khabib?
