Silva/Henderson open to trilogy fight

Dan Henderson and Wanderlei Silva were two of PRIDE's biggest stars, and fought twice for the organization. Fourteen years ago, at Pride 12 Wanderlei Silva earned a decision win over Henderson, but Henderson would avenge that loss, defeating Silva by TKO at Pride 33 in 2007. Now both fight in the UFC and both are nearing the end of their careers, so a rubber match between them would be a great fight before they retire:

"I want to be back soon to make the 50th fight of my career. I would like it to be in a special card. It's not news that I want to face Vitor Belfort or Chael Sonnen. But Dan Henderson is other guy that I want to fight, it's a viable possibility. We're 1-1 tied and it would be nice to have a tiebreaker of our score. In my last fight at Pride, I lost my belt to him and I couldn't have a rematch because we left. If this fight happens, I'll ask him to bring the belt so the winner can have it after the fight."

"This fight could happen in any place of the world. It would be beautiful to happen at a soccer stadium in Curitiba, Brazil, where I'm from. The UFC are promoting a lot of cards and there are a lot of fights that people even don't know that will happen. But Wanderlei Silva vs. Dan Henderson would sell very well. A bout between champions has to be considered a big show."

At this point, these are the types of fights they should both chase.

I think they should put Belfort, Silva, and Henderson in the Octagon. Then put a bucket full of steroids & needles in the middle and see what happens.

I like the fight. Let the Big Stars who are getting into the twilights of their respective careers fight each other.  The rankings and belts don't matter at this stage.  Good competitive fights for the fans should take precedent.

Uhhh they are both very near the end. Not sure how you think wandy isn't. His career might be more over than hendos seeing as he won't get licensed in Nevada and the ufc follows their rulings as far as suspensions.

Say what? If by zero jurisdiction you mean they won't give him a license to fight then yeah I guess you're right?

I would say that the one about Hendo is more correct than that on Wandy.

Why? They had zero jurisdiction over wand.

first fight in Japan, second fight in USA, third fight (Brazil would be cool)

How is that a wrong statement?

Nearing the end of their careers? Wandy is only 38. Hendo is approaching Randy retire time.
