Brenneman returns to UFC on 13-days notice
Charlie Brenneman began his UFC career in 2010 and went 4-4 for the organization before being released by the organization in 2012 after a two-fight skid. Brenneman kept active in regional shows, winning four fights since being cut by the UFC and now looks like he will making a second go at the big show:
Sixteen months after getting released from the world’s premier mixed martial arts promotion, Charlie Brenneman (pictured) will return to fight Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night 35.
Dariush was originally slated to face Jason High in the January 15 event, but High revealed Wednesday that a ruptured appendix and subsequent surgery had forced him out at the 11th hour.
Dariush announced his new opponent on his official Facebook page late last night. UFC officials have yet to confirm the tango.
