Hieron announces MMA retirement

After a nine year career as a professional mixed martial artist, Las Vegas native Jay Hieron has  decided to retire, after two losses inside the UFC.

Hieron announced the retirement on his Twitter account:

Jus wanna say Thank you to my family,friends, & fans. I'm Officially Retiring from Professional Fighting today!

With a professional record of 20-7, Hieron had fought in every major fighting organization including the UFC, Strikeforce, WEC, Bellator FC, Affliction, and IFL.
