UFC signs bantamweight ‘Pitbull’ Correia

MMA does not lack for fighters nicknamed ‘Pitbull’ but the UFC’s most recent fighter is not quite like the others. Tatame is reported that undefeated Brazilian bantamweight Bethe ‘Pitbull’ Correia, 30, is the latest addition to the UFC women’s roster.

Bethe Correia, student of the brothers Patrick and Patricky Pitbull, is the latest Brazilian to sign a contract with the UFC . The news was anounced by the fighters manage, Wallid Ismail, on the program Ring Transamerica.

The athlete Pitbull Brothers, who are unbeaten after six fights in MMA, joins Amanda Nunes and Jessica Bate Estaca, which were the first Brazilian female fighters to sign with the UFC.

Bethe Correia is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Erica Paes, the only athlete to defeat Cris Cyborg, at Jungle Fight 54. Correia still has no date and no opponent for his UFC debut.
