ADCC 2017 brackets, event stream starts 4:00 a.m. ET

The ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) Submission Wrestling World Championships are the most prestigious grappling event on Earth. The competition was created by the visionary United Arab Emirates’ Sheik Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the son of the former president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Held every two years, the 2017 world championships are held in Espoo, Finland on September 23-24.

The five men’s divisions have 16 competitors, with eight athletes qualifying at regional events, seven invited athletes, rounded out by the returning, defending champion. The two women’s divisions have eight competitors, four qualify, and three are invited, plus the defending champion.
