Ariel and The Bad Guy debuts today
ESPN+ will debut today “Ariel & The Bad Guy”, a weekly MMA program hosted by award-winning mixed martial arts journalist Ariel Helwani, alongside ESPN MMA analyst, Chael Sonnen. The show will be available today exclusively in the United States on ESPN+, the recently-launched multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service.
“Ariel & The Bad Guy” will be a fast-paced 30-minute weekly breakdown of the top stories, developments, and upcoming fights. A new episode will be available on ESPN+ each Wednesday starting today. In addition to the regularly scheduled episodes, ESPN+ will stream special episodes before and after major mixed martial arts events.
As it turns out, Helwani was a last minute choice for the role.

So to recap:
“Ariel & The Bad Guy” premieres this Wednesday, 6/20, on ESPN+.
“Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show” (aka my former Monday show) premieres next Monday, 6/20, on Twitter live. Replays on all audio platforms and YouTube clips.
I back. Trust me, I back.
