Brave News, the online show that keeps fans around the world updated on everything Brave-related, drops this week with huge news as MMA legend Wanderlei Silva has been confirmed as a guest for the upcoming groundbreaking Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, set for November 17th, at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, in Manama, Bahrain.

The former Pride champion will act as an ambassador for the event. It will be the second straight appearance by “The Axe Murderer”, who was honored at last August’s Brave 8: The Rise of Champions, in his hometown of Curitiba, Brazil, for his achievements inside the cage and continued support of MMA.

Former UFC and Bellator fighter Alex ‘Extremo’ Soto will come back as color commentator for Brave 9, after being cageside for Brave 2: Dynasty and Brave 4: Unstoppable. He will join longtime broadcaster Cyrus Fees. Bantamweight Soto is involved with Brave in a non-fighting capacity, helping the promotion with athlete-related issues and being instrumental in taking the organization to Tijuana, Mexico, last July.

Also on this edition of Brave News, Eldar Eldarov joins the feud brewing between his pupil Hamza Kooheji and Mohammad Farhad. They are set to face each other at Brave 9, and their fans have been provoking their favorite fighter’s opponents. Lightweight Eldarov is also on The Pride of Bahrain’s corner and said Farhad will have a hard time against Kooheji.

Finally, Venum has been appointed as the official gear for Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions. The Brazil-based company will provide fighters with all apparel during combat week. With more than ten years in the market, Venum has won the MMA Clothing and Equipment Brand of The Year at the 2017 World MMA Awards.
