Anthony Johnson drove his streaks to three on Saturday night. Three wins in a row. Three knockouts in a row. Three Performance Bonuses in a row.

While still in the Octagon, Johnson respectfully called out UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier. Cormier, seated cageside, accepted.

The pair fought for the title at UFC 187 on May 23, 2015, with DC winning in the third via rear naked choke. And they both want to do it again.

However, interim division champion Jon Jones may be back soon, if his failed PED test was actually due to generic version of a sexual dysfunction drug, as rumored.

Johnson wants to fight Cormier in Madison Square Garden, New York City, at UFC 205, on November 12, 2016. Jones was born in raised in Rochester, New York. If he can get licensed to fight by then, a title unification bout with Cormier would be the natural main event.

If Jones cannot get licensed, a Cormier vs. Johnson fight makes sense. But if the interim champion is ready to fight, a telling power struggle may break out.
